Die orthodoxe Kruzifix-Halskette wird von Kunsthandwerkern in Nazareth mit Sorgfalt gefertigt. Das Holz, das aus den Olivenhainen des Heiligen Landes geschnitzt wurde, trägt Jahrhunderte des Gebets in sich. In der Mitte ruht die silberfarbene Christusfigur. Darüber erinnert die Inschrift INRI – „Jesus von Nazareth, König der Juden“ – an sein Opfer. Die Verbindung von Olivenholz und Metall schafft eine schlichte Harmonie, Erde und Geist vereinen sich.
